Our first story is one of the Black Angel of Death Statue, found in Oakland Cemetery, Iowa City. Supposedly, if you get up close and touch this angel of death, you will, quite simply, just die. Of course, it's probably silly stunt to bring tourist revenue to the city, I mean let's be real here, but who knows? After all half the fun is in the guessing.
Of course, here is the odd bit. If you really get to reading about it, and the comments people make, it's not really about the statue at all. I mean, once this story got out, you had people coming all over just to touch it, embrace it and some even licking it, lol. Talk about 'click bait'. When a story like this happens, I really don't care to much about the myth, as to how people react to it, as they go about testing it...licking, yeah, there actually are people out there that admit to licking the damn thing, lol.

Hardware is a film from 1990. It's one of those films where the bot goes a bit nuts and starts wiping people out. I find it quite enjoyable fare if you love sci fi horror, like I do. I'd have to say, of all the genres out there, sci fi horror is my favorite. Sadly, there are few films that are classified in this genre that are very good. But this one is one of my favorites, so grab a box of popcorn, and sit and relax, and enjoy Hardware.

This is absolutely fascinating, and no, I have not made one myself...but I must do it, and I'll let you know if I have. This is a Ghost box or Spirit box. These are homemade devices that are built for the one purpose of listening to spirits talk. Now, if you go on youtube, you'll do a search for EVP's and these are the actual recordings people make with their spirit boxes. I don't know what to say, since I've never made one...but it's very fascinating....so give it a try!
