Mars has captivated humankind for thousands of years. To ancient civilizations, Mars was the god of War.
Is that really so far fetched? When we look at Mars today, this planet the color of oxidized rust, many seek answers. For instance, if there was a civilization on Mars, did it end in war? Is that what happened? Is the human race the result of those who escaped the war and made it to earth?
We may never know. But videos and still imagery that depict buildings covered by years of wind blown dirt and dust instill in us the desire to find out the truth. Until then, our imaginations will run wild as we try to make sense of evidence gathered, if it is evidence at all.
